Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi around midnight. Transfer to hotel / guest house for
overnight.
Day 02: Delhi – Kulu – Tirthan Valley, 1540
meters
Transfer to airport and fly to Kulu. Drive to Tirthan Valley. Check in at
Tirthan Lodge or Forest Rest House at Sai Roopa. Afternoon birding in
surrounding areas. Overnight at Lodge.

Drive to Tirthan Valley in 14 hrs. Overnight at Lodge / Forest Rest House.
Day 03:
Birding trek Sai Roopa, 1540 m - Rolla, 2040 m - 15 Kms
Birding trek along Thirthan
River bed. It is a pleasant walk with a gradual gradient all the way through
coniferous and broad leaved forests 5-6 hrs.
Overnight in camp.
Day 04:
Birding trek Rolla, 2040 m - Shilt, 2900 m - 04 Kms
A short but very steep birding trek along a
difficult and challenging route. We are likely to take about 04 hrs to reach
Shilt, through coniferous and broad leaved forests with occasional meadows.
We will bird at hot spots for Monal, Koklass and Western Trogopan, and
Khalej. With luck we may spot the Cheer pheasant. Shilt is a grassy meadow
surrounded by trees. Continue birding in the evening. Overnight, in camp.
Day 05:
Birding trek Shilt, 2900 - Chowder, 2800 - Rolla, 2040 - 10 kms
We climb 100 meters to reach a ridge. Continue birding along the same ridge
to Chowder for 02 hours through mixed forest. At Chowder we will bird at
Monal and Western Trogopan, specific sites. In the afternoon trek back to
Rolla in 02 hours for overnight in camp.
Day 06:
Birding trek Rolla - Sai Ropa ( 15 Kms). Drive to Kullu ( 36 Kms)
Birding trek back to the road head at Sai Roopa in 04 hrs. Transfer to jeeps
and drive to Kullu. Overnight, at the luxury Apple Valley Resort.
Day 07:
Kulu -Delhi
Fly to Delhi or Drive back to Delhi by car in
14 hrs. Transfer to airport or hotel . TOUR ENDS.

Day 08:
Valvedar - Zainabad
Drive to Zainabad.
200 Kms in 04
hrs to reach this unique arid region of Gujarat. Passing through the
fringe of the Little Rann of
Kutch, we will stop at some water holes to
check birds.
Upon arrival check in at Camp Zainabad,
where we will be staying in traditional
thatch-roofed huts called "Kooba".
These are comfortably furnished with all essential amenities

village, handloom weaving and dyeing units and the village potter.

We have a day- long wild life and birding safari into the
